Authentic mountain Eyrie
Tucked away in the Tramontana mountains, just above Sóller town, is Fornalutx, often voted the prettiest village in Spain. With an intimate and enchanting central square flanked by some cozy bars, and overlooked by the gothic church, this is a village with heart and soul.

A Moorish legacy.
Once a Moorish stronghold and farm, dating back 1000 years, Fornalutx began to take shape after the Catalan conquest in the 13th century. It is characterised by its labyrinth of cobbled alleys and footpaths and picturesque rustic stone houses. The local well-stocked store and inviting local restaurants make this an ideal permanent or second home base.

A walk on the wild side.
This is a paradise for hikers and cyclists, with its unrivalled location right in the heart of the Tramontana mountains. When the lively summer season has passed, this is the place to enjoy peace and quiet and wonderful languid walks down by the river and into the hills.

The constant drive to keep it as original as possible made Fornalutx one of the most authentic and well-preserved mountain villages on the Island and in all of Spain.
Fornalucem.
Offering panoramic mountain views, it may seem miles away from the hustle and bustle but is in reality just ten minutes by car to Sóller town and 50 minutes to Palma airport.
