This extraordinary historical property was built in 1758. It makes up part of what was once a second, in-town residence for a well-known family of landed gentry.
Even though the former mansion was long ago split into two separate townhouses, the property is extensive, boasting approximately 825 square meters of constructed area, a high-ceilinged dining hall, a large courtyard garden, and a traditional Majorcan patio entryway.
The entryway offers access to three separate areas. To the right, a short flight of stairs leads down to a rather large cellar for storing wines, cured meats and cheeses. Above this, there is a series of rooms previously used for receiving guests and as a small doctor’s office with reception area and study. To the back of the patio one finds the main entrance and a stairway leading up to the bedrooms.
Behind this there is access to the beautiful garden with old-growth trees, as well as a well-used charcoal kitchen and sitting area. In the very back, there is a storage area and wc, a dovecote, and a garage, which currently has space for one vehicle and a large storage area, but could be used for two or three vehicles.
The property has plenty of potential and is in need of careful and extensive reform and renovation.
